Description

The Database Backend Commands are not working properly in kubuntu 7.10, I get the following error http://pastebin.ca/749829.
After installing 'ruby1.8-dev' for the same command i get the following error http://pastebin.ca/749834
And nothing gets written into the mysql database.

I think i have solved my problem by updating my gems the command i used was as follows.

gem update

also i installed ri:-

sudo apt-get install ri
